The programme comprises 5 levels, with two books at each level.
Student Edition
This is a book that students will love using.
The 160 pages are printed on smooth cream paper to
reduce visual distortion - it looks and feels lovely.
Each page is thoughtfully and clearly laid out, and
illustration-free, to reduce visual load and distraction.
The teacher’s duet part is only in the Teacher Edition, so that the student's pages don’t have unnecessary print on them
(the student accesses the duet part via recordings/QR codes)
This book guides learners gently and gradually through the
initial stages of becoming a musician. The book incorporates music theory (through over 30 written tasks), so there is no need for a separate theory book.

The Teacher Edition
The teacher's edition is designed to support the teacher as they guide their learners through the ITWY programme.
It offers a highly detailed curriculum, setting out the learning objective for each stage.
There are 142 pages, wiro-bound so that pages can be folded back, enabling the Teacher and Student books to fit side-by-side on the
music shelf of the piano.
