Hello! We are Yvette and Anne Margaret.
We have created this series of piano tutor books to be inclusive and accessible to learners of all ages and abilities, and we are delighted you have chosen to teach your
students using the In Tune With You method.
Yvette French
Yvette French (known professionally as Yvette Price/Yvette Robinson) studied at Lancaster University gaining a Bachelor of Music Degree (BMus Hons). Additionally, under the guidance of renowned piano tutors Christine Stephenson and Jayne Frogley, she attained an ALCM Diploma in pianoforte teaching.
Yvette is a highly experienced and sought-after piano tutor, and has taught both privately and in schools in the north west of England since 1996.
She is passionate about sharing her love of the piano with students of all ages, abilities and needs. Writing the
In Tune With You series has always been a professional
ambition, and combines Yvette’s enjoyment of composing
music with mentoring/supporting piano teachers.
Alongside a teaching career, Yvette has examined for the London College of Music, moderated for GCSE Music Performance exams and performs regularly in public with
her students and friends.
Anne Margaret Smith
Anne Margaret has taught English as an additional language for over 35 years. For the last 25 years she has combined this with working as a dyslexia specialist tutor and assessor.
She founded ELT well with the intention of combining best practice from the two fields of English Language Teaching and Inclusive Teaching. She is also a qualified speech and language therapist, currently working with autistic adults.
